Suge Knight‘s lawyer, Matthew Fletcher, is hopeful Floyd Mayweather Jr. will pay for the music mogul’s bail.
Knight, whose bail is set at $10 million, is good friends with the boxer according to Fletcher, and will come through for him after he defeats Manny Pacquiao.
“They’re good friends,” Fletcher said. “That’s one of his wealthiest friends.”
Fletcher said he talked to Knight on Wednesday about the possibility of Mayweather pulling through with bail.
“Suge said, ‘Man, I was really going to pull for him to win, but now I’m going to have to pray for him to win,’” Fletcher said.
Mayweather has not confirmed if he will indeed be paying Knight’s bail.
