Georgia Davis, 22, was removed from her flat in Aberdare, south Wales, in a seven-hour operation to be transported to hospital this afternoon.
Fire, police and ambulance crews were called to the property at around 9.30am this morning and a number of roads were closed down as scores of medics and firefighters worked to remove her from the building.
Neighbours described seeing 12 emergency vehicles and dozens of emergency service personnel at the scene at the height of the operation.
It is understood French doors at the front of the specially-adapted property were removed to allow crews to lift her from the ground-floor flat into an ambulance using a high amperage crane.
"All the roads are shut down and parents and school transport can't get to the nearby schools and colleges, it's been complete lock down all day.
Georgia, who has lived at the flat for around two years, was removed from her previous property in similar circumstances in 2012 .
She was sent to 'fat camp' in the US a short time later after her weight ballooned to 63 stone.
In 2008 Georgia lost 15 stone on a 1,500 calorie-a-day diet and an exercise regime supervised by behavioural coaches, food psychologists and trainers at Wellspring clinic.
